Stampin' Scouts: Holiday Bingo!

Here's the first of many samples from my Stampin' Scouts Class offerings for Fall/Winter! I am super excited about this class...because it's going to be as fun for me as it is for the girls!

If you haven't seen it already, Stampin' Up! has thing crazy adorable Bingo Card background stamp (it's the size of a card front) and then two companion sets that just make it perfect for the upcoming holidays...Spooky Bingo Bits & Jollly Bingo Bits

Here is the class sample for the Halloween Bingo Class (I'm currently scheduling classes in September & October).  There will also be a Christmas Bingo version as well.  The girls will be doing all the stamping and  creating for their Bingo fun...they'll stamp their Bingo card, then add all the little ghosts, pumpkins, haunted houses and more to their card. Then it's on to the Bingo markers--stamped with a spidery web, of course!! Once all the cards and markers are complete...then it's time to play a couple games with their new crafty creations!  And you're troop can keep playing even after I'm gone, because I will leave you with the calling chips as well so you can play year after year!

Now, if you're thinking to yourself,  "I'm not sure my girls are old enough/crafty enough to make those"....THINK AGAIN!  I put all my classes through my own personal "Test Kitchen". For this project, my class testers are Elizabeth (3) and Allison (8).

If Lizzy can stamp all those little spider webs on those markers...so can your Daisy's & Brownies!

Look how proud she is!

We also played a few games of Bingo to make sure we were uping the "fun factor" for the class...

Here's my eight year old (and camera shy 2nd year Brownie) playing along with her sister. When I asked her if we should add this to our Troop's Halloween Party this year, her response was "Definitely!"

There you have it...tested and recommended for your Girl Scout Troops!  This class will take about an hour or so (depending how many girls you have, etc) so think of it as a great addition to your Halloween and Christmas Parties this year!

The cost of the Holiday Bingo Class is a flat fee of $25.00 plus $3.00 per girl. A minimum 2 weeks notice is required. You can find out all the details about registering for a Stampin' Scouts Class by clicking HERE.

To register your troop, you can contact me at 716.604.4998 or raeannskerrett@hotmail.com

...And look for more Stampin' Scouts samples coming all week!

Wanna Flirt-Day 3, 4 & 5

Okay, so I'm behind in my posts! But, you probably noticed that already.

I had a very fun Stamp & Chat this past Friday which put me behind with all the prep, plus a FANTASTIC marketing opportunity that has now made me look at upgrading my website and adding some GREAT new things! Exhausting..but WOO HOO!

However, I DO want to finish sharing with you all the fun and flirty-ness of the Flirtatious Suite! So, let's get to it before I get sidetracked again!!

Today, I want to show you the VERSATILITY of the set.

Here are some cards, all using the same Flirtatious Suite Papers & Accessories...but all with a different look and feel!

Let's start off with the colors you would expect from the line...Mambo Melon, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White...

(All Cards Designed by Kris Huels)
This card just makes me happy...love the colors!

Remember, you get two sheets of this FABULOUS laser cut double sided doily design paper in the Specialty Designer Series Paper. What a great focal point!

I LOVE this one...when you're looking to add "something different" to your card designs, pull out the First Edition Specialty Paper!! I personally love the look with the Delicate Doily Stamp Set!

Now, lets change up the colors and see what happens...

How about stamping with Whisper White Craft Ink and then coloring it in with Stampin' Write Markers? I think using the Whisper White and the hues of blue really bring out with "wintry" side of this set...do you see snowflakes? I do!

Check this out! By just using one of those cut-out doily's and some Pocketful of Posies DSP...you get a whole new look!

How about adding a completely different stamp set...like Simply Soft Hostess Set!

I hope I gave you some great ideas and some inspiration on how to use the Flirtatious Suite in a bunch of different card designs!  Now, let's chat about Scrapping for a second, shall we?

As you know, I am VERY excited about adding "Scrap & Chat" to our monthly "Stamp & Chat" event that I hold the second Friday of every month. You can get all the details HERE.

Well, in celebration of the Flirtatious Suite product line and the launch of Scrap & Chat in September....I am very happy to share with you two of the three scrap book pages you can create!!

Page 2

Everything I love about the line is here...the colors, the punches, the ribbon!  I hope you join me in creating this double page layout for your 12 X 12 scrapbook...or just frame them individually and give them as gifts this holiday season!  There is still one more page to show you that we'll be creating at Scrap & Chat...that sneak peak will be coming soon!

Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of flirting with you all week! We'll be switching gears this coming week as I have a BUNCH of class samples to share with you from my Girl Scout Stampin' Scout Classes.  I was a VERY busy girl last school year meeting lots of different troop leaders and some really great girls! I look forward to doing it all over again...

Have a great weekend everyone!

Wanna Flirt-Day 3

Have you ever been too tired to Flirt?

I think I am at that point this evening!  Unfortunately for me, I have a one year old whose digestive system is still getting used to solid food AND he's cutting one of his top teeth. So, not too much sleep was had last night...and no nap time for him today. Which makes for a very tired Stamp-at-home Mommy...

However, I promised you some flirting tonight...and I keep my promises! :)

Here is a picture from one of the displays at Convention that I KNOW you will love...all decorated and filled with our Flirtatious Suite of products...

Click on the picture to see it up a little closer. Did you notice that the lampshade is made out of the Flirtatious DSP?  And check out the drawer...it's all filled with the Flirtatious Designer Series Fabric! What else do you see in there?? I keep finding new things each time I look at it...

Speaking of fabric, check out this Convention display...

I love the new Designer Series Fabrics...you can use them on cards, sewing projects, quilting (it works with the dies and the Big Shot!)...Just so many opportunities to make pretty things!

Tomorrow I am excited to show you some Scrapbook Pages using the Flirtatious Suite. Why am I so excited?? Because they are the first two pages that we will be creating during my new SCRAP & CHAT starting in September (same time, same place as Stamp & Chat!)

If you've "friended" my
on Facebook...you already had a sneak peak of one page...but tomorrow I will show you the second page of the layout...plus another bonus page.

So, It's just a little flirting tonight...don't take it the wrong way...I'm still into you!! ;)

Sweet Dreams, my friends...and I will try to do the same!

Wanna Flirt? Day 2

Today on my daily mission to "flirt" with you, I have two easy breezy cards that would be quick to make...but you'd be thrilled to give!

Card created by Kris Huels

This card is simply using the Wisteria Wonder Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, some Flirtatious Specialty DSP, a couple of punches and a Designer Printed Brad.

Bing, Bang, Boom...you're done!

What is GREAT about the Flirtatious Specialty DSP  is that you get two sheets of doily laser cut paper! Pretty much it's a bunch of doily's connected together on two 12 X 12 sheets! One is Pumpkin Pie and the other is Melon Mambo...but on the back..WHITE!  So, all you have to do is cut out one of those laser cut doily's and you get super sweet cards like these!

Now, change up the colors, snip yourself out another doily shape and this is what you can make...

Card created by Kris Huels

Notice that the Designer Printed Brad was exchanged for a Designer Button with some White Bakers Twine, a different Doily was chosen and only one small circle punch was used.  Same design....two different looks!

Tomorrow, I promise you won't be disappointed!  I have a couple great inspirations (i.e. AMAZING displays) from Convention that show you some more fun and fantastic things in the Flirtatious Suite!

And, in case you didn't hear...NOW is the perfect time to purchase the Flirtatious DSP (and any other DSP for that matter!) because the BUY 3, GET ONE FREE SALE is on NOW!

Happy Stampin' Everyone!

Wanna Flirt?

One of new product lines in the Idea Book & Catalog is the Flirtatious Suite.  While I was at our team Stamp Fest (which was AMAZING!) we looked more closely at this line and all that there is to offer. So, all week, I am going to share some pictures from Convention as well as some samples from Stamp Fest to show you what a fun, cherry and VERSATILE line this is!!

Let's start with what's included in the suite...

And, here's a little closer up on some of the products...

Check out that fun fabric and the AWESOME punches that coordinate with this set!  I am in love with the Delicate Doilies Stamp Set (I tend to use them ALOT when planning my Stamp & Chat classes!) and the larger single stamp, Hello, Doily.  But the one thing we are missing that just makes this suite SO AWESOME...the Designer Series Paper...

How's that for a paper display??

This was taken at Convention...don't you just want to pick all these beautiful flowers?!

Here is a card (created by fellow sideline, Kris Huels) that showcases these papers perfectly...

Notice how the doily was stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink over the Wisteria Wonder Cardstock before it attached to the card. Another element I love....the Lace Ribbon Border Punch! My new favorite and "go to" for adding that special touch to cards! If you're joining me for August Stamp & Chat, you'll get to play with this punch!

That is just a little taste of what I'll be sharing with you all this week! SO, get FLIRTY and follow me to see what else YOU can create with the Stampin' Up! Flirtatious Product Suite!
